Screw jacks (trapezoidal screw)
JA.JAH.JAS and JTA Series
JA series standard screw jacks (trapezoidal screw)
This safe design includes a self-locking feature. Models designed for a variety of applications have been standardized to a capacity of 2 kN to 1250 kN.
Features
This series includes a self-locking feature through the use of a trapezoidal screw making it possible to hold the screw shaft even if there is an unintended power cut off.
Grease lubrication is used for the worm reduction section in the range from 2 kN to 10 kN and oil bath lubrication is used for capacities of 25 kN or more. This design is sufficiently rigorous even for high-speed operation.
An ideal bearing structure produces high performance. The standard capacity covers a rich range from 2 kN to 1250 kN.
Makishinko has experience manufacturing up to a capacity of 2000 kN.
Structure
[JA002 to JA010]
Screw shaft end
Select from a rich variety of fitting configurations.
High precision, large screw shaft
This series uses a trapezoidal screw.
Ideal bearing structure
This series uses a tapered roller bearing that is durable against both thrust and radial loads.
*002 Deep groove ball bearings used
High precision worm wheel
This series uses a special aluminum bronze material which has been machined with high precision and offers ample strength.
Large input shaft
This series offers ample strength for the use of multiple connected jacks.
Screw shaft guide
A screw guide is provided on the output shaft cover of the worm wheel to minimize drift of the screw.
Grease lubrication
Grease lubrication offers easy maintenance.
Light weight housing
The housing is manufactured from diecast aluminum and is both lightweight and compact.
High efficiency reduction
This design offers the benefits of many years of experience with Worm Speed Reducer.
This jack operates by turning the input shaft (worm shaft), rotating the worm wheel (nut) and this movement is transmitted as propulsive force to the screw shaft.
The jack is lubricated with grease in the worm section and screw section.
*The worm section of the JA002 model is lubricated by oil.
[JA025 to JA1250]
*Only significant differences with the JA002 to JA010 models are explained.
Ideal bearing structure
A tapered roller bearings is used and in heavy load applications a thrust self-aligning roller bearing is used.
Oil bath lubrication
Oil bath lubrication makes high-speed operation possible and offers easy maintenance.
Tough housing
Models number 100 and above use cast steel for the housing and models 025 to 075 use ductile cast iron (FCD450). (Cast steel production is also available.)
End cap
The end cap is convenient for inspecting the screw shaft.
[JA Series]
JAH series hi-lead screw jacks (trapezoidal screw)
Hi-lead specification jacks are high-speed jacks with a larger screw lead.
Features
Enjoy high-speed operation. (Velocity is two times greater than the JA Series.)
When operated at the same speed as a standard JA Series jack, the JAH Series produces less noise because it can be operated at a lower input speed.
The JAH Series is more efficient than the JA Series (30% or more). Because the screw lead is large, there is not a self-locking effect.
Standardization is available from 25 kN to 200 kN.
